A graduate of New York University with a BS in Mass Media and Global Communications (with emphasis on theater & voice), certified initially through the International Sports Medicine Association (ISMA/AAAI), and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), Danielle has been studying yoga, the martial arts, and alternative healing for over fifteen years.
In this time, she's had the opportunity to work with extraordinary teachers of Taoist, Kundalini, Integral, Iyengar, Kripalu, Hatha, Isha, and Ashtanga Yoga, and has been a teacher of Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga for over eight years.
Having taught yoga for the elderly, children, and people with specific concerns (i.e. Yoga for fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, ADD/ADHD, and Depression, to name a few), her youngest student was once 3-years-old. Her eldest, 93, and she has adapted her teaching to fit the varying needs of her students.
Over the years, she has been a Guest Lecturer/Instructor for the Women's Resource Center, Khalsa Clinic, Temple University, Florida College of Natural Health, Manatee Community College, I AM Healing Arts Center, Albon Neuromuscular Center, Zen Zone, Pennsbury High School, and Tuttle Elementary School, as well as an Instructor at the Robert Wood Johnson's Wellness Center, and Studio ZEN .
Currently, Danielle a full time writer (whose credits include Metromix/Tampa Bay 10 & Positive Change Magazine), and is author of the upcoming Acting Out Yoga series for children. She is pursuing her Masters Degree in Professional and Technical Writing, in addition to a lifelong study of Yoga.
