August 15th, Saturday, 12 noon - 1:30 p.m.  Joy Through Movement & Creative Expression: This workshop provides Tai Chi, gentle yoga and journaling exercises that focus on helping participants discover what brings joy and purpose to their lives, while giving them tools for tapping in to their own creative process.  $20.  Pre-registration required.  Space limited.

Overview of Workshops Offered: 

Yoga & Journaling Workshops (Theme):

Emotional Development:  This workshop offers unique exercises that allow participants to find creative ways of accessing and expressing emotions through their own use of the written word, breath work, meditation and restorative yoga. Learn to process and release emotions, while providing tools to foster empowerment through creative self-expression and movement.

Finding Joy, a Sense of Purpose and Peace:  This workshop provides light meditation and journaling exercises that focus on helping participants discover what brings joy and purpose to their lives, and develop an action plan for living a more fulfilling life. 

Note:  Themed workshops vary by location.  Some include only meditation and journaling, while others offer tai chi and yoga.  Please refer to event schedule for specifics by location.

Moving Meditation for the Hyper Mind : 

This workshop offers basic Tai Chi, Yoga and active concentration exercises designed to help those who have trouble focusing learn how to quiet the mind and body in meditation. Through physical movements and active brainwork, the practitioner will be able to find unique pathways that will lead to a state of physical and mental relaxation.
